What is this?

There are a lot of coffee recipes out there but this coffee panna cotta is two thumbs up for us. It is a combination of rich coffee flavors and vanilla beans that makes this dessert so creamy.

This coffee panna cotta may be a creamy dessert but it isn't that filling as its base is made of gelatin. Every coffee lover should give this recipe a try and we promise you, you will love this creamy coffee dessert.

Coffee Panna Cotta Recipe:

4 cups cream2 cups milk1 cup sugar2 tablespoons vanilla beans or sticks2 tablespoons instant coffee powder7 pieces gelatin sheets

Serves 20

1. Heat milk, cream and sugar together and simmer for 15 minutes. Add coffee and vanilla beans.

2. In a separate bowl, put in gelatin sheets and add enough water to cover the gelatin. Add this to the cream mixture, stir constantly and strain. Transfer mixture into round molds and chill.

3. After a few hours of chilling, you may add another layer of the pannacotta mixture, this time without the coffee powder. This will create a nice brown and white layer to your coffee panna cotta.

4. To unmold the panna cotta, dip the molds in hot water for 10 seconds then invert onto a plate. Sprinkle with coffee powder before serving.

Enjoy your coffee panna cotta!
