How to remove coffee stains in 3 different methods

Home > Coffee-Stains

Eliminate coffee stains from your clothes, furniture, linens, carpet and more!

No matter how careful we are, coffee type stains are just a part of people who drink coffee. We love our coffee that we forget that it's too hot so we drink it immediately and because of this we not only burn out tongue but we spill coffee on our clothes. Tide To Go

Another instance where we get coffee stains is when we drink coffee and drive. Although there's no alcohol at that time, some of us drink coffee even if we're not in full stop.

Whether it's someone who suddenly crosses the street or someone who cuts you without signaling or whatever reason, it is very risky and one wrong move can spill your coffee. And yes, it is dangerous.

We know we love your coffee but it is important to drive safely. But we're not here for a lecture about driving right?

So what are the tips in removing coffee stains?

  • Liquid Detergent / Commercial Stain Remover - In our opinion the best way to remove the coffee is by using this method. Rinse the stain thoroughly from the back of the clothing with cold water then rub it with the detergent until you remove the stain.
  • Vinegar - Another easy way to remove it is by mixing one teaspoon of white vinegar in one quart of cold water. Sponge on the stain.
  • Baking Soda - Put some baking soda on a wet cleaning cloth and remove the stain.

*Discalimer: There is no perfect way to clean your clothes, carpets etc as these may sometimes not work. The most important thing to remember is to act quickly since the longer you wait, the harder it will be to take out the stains.

One final coffee tip: If the methods above do not work to take out that coffee stain, you might want to seek professional help. Go to the dry cleaner and let them take a look at it. They have stronger chemicals that can take the stains out but of course, it will cost you more.

But always remember, in order to remove the stain, you should immediately clean it or have dry cleaned.
